Job summary

The candidate should have at least one year of perfusionist experience, a bachelor’s degree, and must obtain certification as a Clinical Perfusionist within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist.
• Bachelor Degree.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist within one year.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operation, maintenance and application of circulation technology.
• Provides age-appropriate care to patients of all ages, including cardiopulmonary bypass and related procedures.
• Manages anticoagulation, hematologic monitoring/analysis, blood gas and chemistry monitoring.
• Performs organ preservation, surgical assisting and administration of medications via extracorporeal circuit.
