Job summary

Syneos Health in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to provide compliant scientific information to Key Contacts and collaborate with medical and scientific leaders.

The role requires an advanced scientific degree and 2+ years of MSL experience, with emphasis on cardiovascular or specialty areas. Base salary ranges from $170,000 to $182,500, plus potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA).
• Minimum 2+ years of MSL experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular or other specialty therapeutic areas preferred, with ability to quickly develop disease-state, clinical, and scientific expertise.
• Strong scientific & clinical acumen.
• Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and realize the potential impact on clinical practice and research.
• Drive for self-development, collaboration, and action-oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliant scientific responses to medical information requests from Key Contacts.
• Medical and subject area expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with stakeholders while developing an understanding of clinical practice related to areas of interest.
• Integrate scientific data into real life practice to meet customer needs.
• Participate in development of a customer-centric tactical engagement plan to support Medical Affairs strategies.
• Maintain scientific and clinical knowledge base through ongoing learning and awareness of literature.
• Collaborate with field-based Medical colleagues, appropriate Commercial colleagues, and the broader organization to provide scientific expertise.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries of HCPs/investigators/health care systems and integrate real-world evidence.
