Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in the United States/DC area to provide fair, balanced scientific information and product education to Key Contacts. You will build relationships with medical and scientific leaders, translate complex data to inform clinical practice, and support Medical Affairs strategies.

The role requires an advanced scientific degree and 2+ years of MSL experience, with preference for cardiovascular or other specialty areas.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA) preferred.
• 2+ years of MSL experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular or other specialty therapeutic areas preferred.
• Strong scientific and clinical acumen.
• Ability to translate complex scientific data and realize impact on practice.
• Drive for self-development, collaboration, and action-oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, informative, fair-balanced and compliant scientific responses to medical information requests from Key Contacts.
• Medical and subject area expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with stakeholders while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice.
• Integrate scientific data into real life practice to meet customer needs.
• Participate in development of a customer-centric tactical engagement plan to support Medical Affairs strategies.
• Maintain scientific and clinical knowledge base through continuous learning and awareness of related literature.
• Collaborate with field Medical colleagues, Commercial colleagues, and the broader organization to share Medical insights.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries of HCPs/investigators/health care systems and integrate real world evidence.
