Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Sonographer to join the Echocardiography department in Aurora, CO. You will review patient histories, educate patients on procedures, and perform ultrasound exams including adult echo and vascular studies.

The role requires ARDMS and/or CCI credentials and compliance with safety standards. The position offers full-time hours (72 per pay period), daytime shifts, and a $60.00 per hour pay rate with a travel package or stipend.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
• Must hold 1 adult echo and 1 vascular credential (RDCS AE or RVT) or equivalent via CCI.
• State licensure if required by law and BLS certification through AHA/Red Cross.
• BLS/CPR valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient about procedures and exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast media/medications within scope.
• Position patient and perform ultrasound procedures; ensure imaging quality and safety standards.

Education

Accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
