Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager for the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit. You will lead direct reports, oversee staffing, education, and performance while ensuring quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

You will drive performance initiatives, manage budgets, and foster a culture of safety and continuous learning. RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS is required; CTU experience is essential; advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead the Cardiothoracic Surgical unit and personnel.
• Strong skills in staffing, coaching, and payroll function.
• Experience with audits, surveys, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop education programs to maintain high nursing competency.
• Coordinate staff schedules for adequate patient coverage.
• Lead budget and resource management to meet goals.
