AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator for the Cardiac PCU to lead nursing education, research, and evidence-based practice. The role focuses on clinical inquiry, change agent activities, and advancing the seven roles of the NPD practitioner.

The successful candidate will support professional development, disseminate findings through courses, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Master's degree in nursing required.
• 2+ years nursing in a hospital setting.
• Experience as a preceptor preferred.
• 1+ year as an NPD practitioner preferred.
• Recent ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for clinical inquiry and evidence-based practice.
• Support professional curiosity and quality improvement initiatives.
• Identify problems and collaboratively implement changes.
• Create a supportive environment for nursing research and education.
• Disseminate evidence-based findings through educational programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
