Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biological Sciences and physiology knowledge.
• Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• ARDMS Adult Echocardiography and Physics; or RCS, active status.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic echocardiography exams (M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, Color Doppler).
• Positions patients and adjusts machine to obtain optimal cardiac images.
• Maintains patient history and clarifies study goals for each exam.
• Coordinates with cardiology team and scheduling to manage workflow.
• Participates in QA, equipment maintenance, and accreditation activities.
