Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic cardiac sonography examinations on patients with congenital and acquired heart disease.
• Determines proper technique and positioning to obtain optimal results per protocols.
• Performs pediatric and adult congenital echo exams and teaches others when possible.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, families, and coworkers during procedures.
• Creates detailed preliminary reports with impressions and relevant findings for physician interpretation.
• Uses Syngo and/or Electronic Health Records to finalize studies, enter data, and support accurate billing.
