Job summary

Marshall Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer II to perform advanced echocardiography and help evaluate heart structures and function. You will work with cardiologists to provide diagnostic information, maintain image quality, and stay current with new ultrasound techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities include operating echo equipment, educating patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program or equivalent education that meets credentialing requirements.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required. Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac sonographer experience. Proficiency in transesophageal and stress echocardiograms preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced heart ultrasound procedures to evaluate heart anatomy and function.
• Analyze ultrasound data to aid diagnosis and ensure high-quality images.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and stay updated on new techniques.
• Educate patients and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic information.
