Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions in California seeks a Sr. Special Procedures Technologist to perform cardiac and vascular radiographic exams and assist with interventional cardiovascular procedures.

You will operate specialized imaging equipment, provide patient care, and mentor staff while ensuring safety and accurate documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting in Monrovia. Requires RT license, BLS/CPR, HLFS, fluoroscopy certification, and PVMB/TEAM certifications; advanced imaging experience

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience (Preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (Preferred).
• Three years of technical experience (Preferred).
• Special Procedures Technologist experience (Preferred).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in state of practice (Required).
• BLS or CPR certification (Required).
• HLFS certification (Required).
• Fluoroscopy certification (Required).
• PVMB, TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI certification (Required).

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac and vascular radiographic and interventional procedures.
• Operates specialized imaging equipment and produces diagnostic images.
• Positions and prepares patients according to established protocols.
• Assists physicians during cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
• Administers contrast media as required and operates fluoroscopy and cinefluorography equipment.
• Monitors patient responses and reports changes to physicians.
• Provides procedure explanations and discharge instructions.
• Maintains accurate documentation and follows safety standards.
• Mentors and trains staff on technical skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
