Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to perform echocardiograms and related studies in a fast-paced cardiology imaging department. You will prepare patients, acquire high-quality images, and deliver preliminary data to the reading physician under supervision.

The role requires ARDMS or CCI certification, BLS, and adherence to IAC/ARDMS quality standards. Workload includes inpatient and outpatient testing with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered ARDMS or CCI sonographer.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong knowledge of echocardiography protocols and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures.
• Prepares patient for testing and provides data/results to cardiologists.
• Maintains equipment and ensures room readiness and supply stocking.
