Job summary

HSHS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cath Lab in Springfield, IL. The role involves assisting physicians during invasive and diagnostic procedures, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring sterile technique.

Requires ARRT RT(R) certification and state licensure, with BLS/ACLS credentials. Qualified candidates have 4+ years in cath lab settings and may rotate across multiple diagnostic or interventional casetypes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology or related field required.
• 4 years of experience in cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role required.
• License as Radiographer in the state of practice required.
• ARRT certification RT(R) required.
• CI certification from ARRT OR RCIS/RCES from CCI preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro and electrophysiology procedures; monitor patient response during procedures.
• Pass instruments and catheters; maintain sterile field.
• Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician use.
