Job summary

UNC Health Nash Hospital seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide competent clinical nursing care in the NGH Cardiac Cath Lab. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires NC RN licensure, graduation from a nursing program, BLS on hire, and one year of acute/chronically ill patient care experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. On-site, 40 hours per week, day shift.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• One year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care aligned with professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Educate patients and families; assess readiness to learn.
