Job summary

Pilot Company in Knoxville is seeking a senior software developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support a new Card Management Platform, secure APIs, and data migrations. You will work independently as a senior contributor while collaborating with architects, cloud, security, and business stakeholders.

Expect to build object-oriented services using C# and Python, front-end interfaces with React, REST APIs, and AWS components, delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions with production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Five or more years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing REST APIs, enterprise integrations, event-driven applications, React or similar front-end interfaces, relational database solutions, ETL and migration utilities, and production support solutions.

Responsibilities

• Application Development & Product Delivery: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure, scalable enterprise app solutions using C# and/or Python, React, REST APIs, and AWS components.
• Data & ERP Migration Support: Develop SQL scripts, ETL processes, migration utilities, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Technical Collaboration & Standards: Participate in design reviews, estimation, planning, and documentation for API, integration, migration, and monitoring practices.
• Mentor junior developers and support internal training and documentation.
