Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Associate for the Card Finance Analytics team to drive analytics of acquisitions investment strategies, offers, performance, and profitability. The role develops Card P&L expertise, optimizes offer strategies, and enhances forecast mechanisms within the business planning process.

The successful candidate will perform quantitative analyses, collaborate with risk, marketing and business teams, and present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field
• 4+ years in Finance or analytical/reporting role
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
• Understanding of investment modeling including NPV, ROI, ROE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficient in SAS/SQL or other programming language
• Excellent communication (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills and decision-making abilities
• Capable of managing multiple projects with tight timelines

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantitative analysis using SAS/SQL and Alteryx/Tableau to predict account performance and profitability
• Serve as main contact for cross-functional teams including risk, marketing, and business units
• Identify areas to improve or automate acquisition forecasting processes
• Develop tools to reduce manual work and improve forecast accuracy
• Provide insights and recommendations for acquisitions investment strategies
• Create post-implementation reviews comparing results to forecasts
• Perform valuations of acquisitions-related business cases requiring IT resources
• Present analytics and recommendations to senior management
