Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an engineering professional to lead capital strategy and the master plan development. You will drive the long-range capital plan, manage the annual capital plan, and ensure financial compliance while leading a team of engineers to implement facilities, utilities, and equipment capital projects.

Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, ensuring policy compliance, and balancing multiple high-impact projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; a post-graduate degree is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge with broad problem-solving skills and judgment.
Interacts well with diverse groups; collaborative in fast-paced environments.
Must be fully bilingual in written and verbal English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Drive the site capital long-range plan from development to submission.
Develop project strategic planning for next fiscal year capital plan.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality objectives.
Manage multiple, concurrent projects with deadlines and budgets.
Maintain project controls and reporting for budget, scope, and schedule.
Provide technical leadership and coordination across marketing, product development, and manufacturing.
