Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side, writing the project quality plan and setting surveillance for contractors and suppliers. You will lead audits, qualify vendors, and report quality metrics to project leadership, with 6+ years in construction quality and ISO 9001 auditing background.

Travel to active sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
