Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Capital Project Procurement Manager to oversee high-value equipment, materials, and services for multi-million dollar construction projects. You will integrate site engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 20+ years in large capital projects, proficiency with Coupa/Ariba/Autodesk/ERP, and credentials such as CIPS or PMP are preferred. Experience in diverse markets and strong decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering or contracts management background for large capital projects USD$50m+.
• Proven experience in capital procurement for complex projects."
• Professional credentials such as CIPS or PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of high-value equipment, materials, and services for multi-million dollar projects.
• Develop and implement PPP (Project Procurement Plan) and CMP (Contract Management Plan) for projects.
• Lead tender development, management, and cross-functional collaboration with global engineering, finance, health & safety, and legal teams.
• Negotiate contracts and manage conformance across designer/construction/specialist third-party supply and build elements.
• Maintain SRM (Vendor/Supplier Relationship Management) and monitor performance through pre-award to warranty periods.
• Benchmark costs and implement cost-avoidance and savings strategies; adjust plans based on data-driven insights.
• Manage change orders and assess data to decide go/no-go decisions throughout project phases.
