Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-year capital investments across its Pulp, Power & Recovery (PPR) operations. You will manage projects from concept through commissioning, coordinating engineering, maintenance, operations, safety, and finance to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective outcomes.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Project Management or Engineering and 4+ years of experience, with the ability to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Engineering is required.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar capital projects.
• Ability to travel at least 80% to support project development, execution, outages, startups, and mill engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple capital projects ($10MM - $50MM) across full lifecycle (P0–P6).
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget and risk management.
• Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, maintenance, operations, finance, safety, and construction.
• Foster alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners; ensure all parties are aligned on project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Drive FEL development and execution readiness (P0-P3).
• Ensure alignment with mill and business leadership.
• Facilitate project reviews, status reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee detailed design, contractor coordination, outage execution, and startup (P4-P6).
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage and control objective and scope changes.
• Deliver projects that meet business case and performance expectations.
