Job summary

Duke University is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects, to lead complex campus projects from concept through completion on the Durham campus. You will partner with faculty, staff, and Facilities Management to ensure projects meet safety, schedule, and budget goals.

The role requires seven years of experience in construction or project management, with a Bachelor's in a related field. A master's degree and licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction, design, engineering, or project management.
• Experience managing capital budgets, project schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience overseeing all project phases from planning through occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from planning through commissioning and occupancy.
• Coordinate stakeholders, consultants, and contractors for large campus projects.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and financial records; prepare status updates.
