Job summary

American Family Insurance Agency Staff seeks an experienced actuary to lead stochastic modeling, capital modeling and forecasting for pricing, reserving and reinsurance across a line of business. You will develop models, interpret results, and communicate findings to leadership.

The role offers hybrid work with a minimum of 10 days per month in the office and relocation support where eligible. FCAS is preferred; candidates reside within 35–50 miles of Madison, WI or Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-driven actuarial solutions.
• Strong knowledge of P&C pricing, ratemaking and trends.
• FCAS designation or pursuing FCAS is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation and leads development of models for pricing, reserving and reinsurance.
• Communicates technical results to non-actuarial audiences and leadership.
• Leads projects and/or staff; manages or supports multiple modeling initiatives.
• Explores new concepts and data sources to drive innovative solutions.
• Monitors industry trends and impact on actuarial strategies.
