Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in actuarial analysis and forecasting.
• Extensive knowledge of pricing, ratemaking, and loss reserving.
• Experience in capital modeling and scenario analysis.
• FCAS fellowship or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong communication for non-actuarial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation and leads development of models and projections for new start-up organizations.
• Provides actuarial expertise on pricing, ratemaking, loss reserving, modeling or reinsurance for a line of business.
• Explores new concepts, statistical models, and data sources to deliver innovative solutions.
• Monitors industry and competitor trends to determine impact on actuarial strategies.
• Leads projects and/or develops staff.
