Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
• At least 3 years of experience as an attorney in a capital markets context.
• 4+ years of securities law experience.
• In-depth knowledge of asset-backed securities laws, including Regulation AB.

Responsibilities

• Supporting capital markets transactions, including securitizations, as issuer.
• Counseling Corporate Treasury on changes in securities laws and regulations.
• Interpreting and advising on existing agreements and obligations.
• Providing strategic legal advice on complex issues.
• Securitization funding platform maintenance and SEC reporting support.
• Implementing repeatable processes for capital markets transactions and due diligence.
• Supervising work of other legal professionals and coordinating outside counsel.
