Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. is seeking a finance professional to manage capital spending, asset accounting, and reporting across divisions in the Kansas City area. This role partners with leadership to oversee month-end close, budgeting, depreciation, and internal controls for capital projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in accounting/finance, manufacturing exposure, and CPA preferred. Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and SAP helps drive accuracy and efficiency across the enterprise.

Qualifications

5–8 years of accounting or finance experience with capital finance and fixed assets.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
CPA certification is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

Actively prepare reports for and lead monthly division and CSC prep calls and meetings.
Partner with divisions on lease/capital questions and quarterly CSC reports.
Manage the Capital Projects SharePoint site and improve approvals workflow.
Assist budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow and forecast accuracy.
Collaborate with marketing on monthly project updates for the CEO.
Manage CapEx files and depreciation runs, including asset transfers.
