Job summary

IGT seeks a Manager of Capital Assets & Lease Accounting to lead global capital assets, CIP, and lease accounting under US GAAP. You will drive the asset lifecycle, software capitalization, and real estate/equipment leases while partnering cross-functionally to standardize processes.

The role requires 6+ years in corporate accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on leadership to support audits, acquisitions, and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including fixed assets, capital projects, lease accounting, or corporate accounting.
• Experience managing or developing accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and reporting for tangible and intangible capital assets, capital projects, and lease assets/liabilities under U.S. GAAP.
• Manage fixed asset lifecycle including depreciation, transfers, impairments, retirements.
• Oversee CIP and capital project balances with project owners and Finance teams.
• Oversee accounting for internally developed software and technology investments.
• Oversee global lessee accounting for real estate and equipment leases per ASC 842.
• Partner with Real Estate, Procurement, Legal, and regional Finance teams on lease changes.
• Review lease accounting calculations and supporting schedules.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities for assets and leases.
