Job summary

Columbia Care is seeking a Senior Production Technician to lead the post-harvest processing from harvest through packaging, labeling, and final product readiness. You will supervise and coach the production team to maintain quality and productivity while adhering to all regulations and SOPs.

Responsibilities include directing trimming, weighing, and packaging activities, ensuring accurate records, and operating automated equipment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years cultivation/processing experience in cannabis/manufacturing.
• Thorough understanding of state and local cannabis regulations.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop production staff.
• Ability to operate processing equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in post-harvest plant processing from drying to labeling.
• Organize day-to-day tasks and delegate to technicians.
• Provide direction, training, and coaching to production staff.
• Oversee trimming, weighing, packaging, and record-keeping.
• Transport plants to drying, monitor quality, and inspect for pests.
• Operate automated machinery and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and comply with SOPs and HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, security, and schedules.
