Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Network Designer to lead CAN/LAN design, deployment, and maintenance of complex global networks across multiple security domains. You will guide network evolution to meet changing business needs and ensure stability, performance, and reliable operation.

The role requires hands-on routing and switching expertise (BGP/OSPF), cloud networking experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with poly required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
  • DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IAT II required.
  • Strong routing and switching expertise with experience across OSPF, BGP, VLAN, Spanning Tree.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CAN/LAN engineering with advanced technical support while aligning with overall network design.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CAN/LAN network solutions in collaboration with architects and other teams.
  • Design and optimize CAN/LAN architectures for high availability and performance.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for CAN/LAN infrastructure and resolve complex issues.
  • Respond to escalated tickets with timely, transparent communication to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure documentation of configurations and incidents.
  • Stay current with emerging network technologies and security threats.
