Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the campus threat defense portfolio end to end across Catalyst and Meraki platforms.

You will define the strategy for distributed firewalling at the access layer and shape security operations workflows that turn telemetry into SOC-ready outcomes. You will partner with silicon and platform teams to deliver secure capabilities, own the roadmap, and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related technical/business field.
• 8+ years in product management, 4+ years in cybersecurity products (firewall, NDR, XDR, SOC tooling).
• Experience owning an end-to-end portfolio (strategy, business case, roadmap, launch, adoption).
• Experience with security operations: detection engineering, triage, investigation, containment.
• Experience in enterprise campus networking and access-layer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, business case, and launch for campus firewalling across campus, branch, healthcare, and industrial environments.
• Partner with silicon and platform engineering to improve secure capabilities of switching hardware.
• Define security operations workflows linking access layer to detection and response (NXDR, AI-driven agents).
• Lead Splunk integration path for access-layer investigations inside Cisco Cloud Control.
• Define governance for registered/non-human identities and set detection strategy for agent activity.
• Represent portfolio in executive forums and customer/partner briefings; shape roadmap decisions.
• Set the bar for AI-native product execution using AI tools across discovery, analysis, and launch.
• Mentor other product managers and raise product craft standards.
