Job summary

Glorieta Adventure Camps is seeking a Campus Grounds & Landscape Manager to lead operations on a 400-acre campus within a 2,000+ acre mountain property in Glorieta, NM. This full-time, on-site role focuses on appearance, functionality, and continual improvement of outdoor spaces for ministry and recreation.

Compensation starts at $18.00/hour with overtime. On-site housing and a range of benefits accompany this leadership position, with 70% field work and 30% administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in grounds, landscape, turf, park, campus, or resort management.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, horticulture, and grounds operations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve irrigation, drainage, turf, and landscape challenges.
• Experience in a superintendent/lead role in grounds management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the campus superintendent for grounds operations, maintaining quality and appearance across outdoor spaces.
• Ensure guest experience through welcoming, distraction-free grounds.
• Develop annual grounds maintenance plans and operating procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address deficiencies.
• Oversee safety, efficiency, and quality in all outdoor work.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate grounds staff and supervisors.
• Coordinate with other departments for guest-focused outdoor spaces.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and reporting for grounds operations.
• Lead snow removal and winter operations where needed.
