Job summary

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches seeks a Senior Program Leader to direct seasonal direct care staff and coordinate camp programs and events. You will work with the Camp Director to ensure smooth operation and alignment with agency goals, safety standards, and youth welfare.

The role requires an AA degree (or higher), ACCT ropes course certification within six months, and flexibility for weekend duties, including campus living as needed. Base salary is $37,440 annually.

Qualifications

• AA degree in education or human services required or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred.
• HS diploma with 3+ years camping experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of plan of work and operation of the facility, including maintenance coordination.
• Develops curriculum and schedules activities for camp programs.
• Assists Camp Director in planning day-to-day operations of summer resident camp.
• Supervises Summer Resident Camp staff involved in programs.
• Supports conflict resolution between youth and staff as needed.
• Assists in recruiting summer staff and training Camping Services personnel.
• Prepares documentation for Summer Camp operations (incident reports, census, etc.).
• Ensures compliance with Youth Ranches policies, ACA/COA standards, and state statutes.
