Zusammenfassung

Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the CAMHS OT team at The St Aubyn's Centre in Colchester. You will work with a Band 5 OT, an OT apprentice and activity coordinators to assess and treat young people aged 13–18 on the assessment unit and PICU unit.

You will collaborate with Medical, Nursing, Psychology, Social Care and Education colleagues, exchanging complex information and contributing to formulations and treatment planning

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with CAMHS experience preferred.
• Experience with 13-18 age group and goal-directed OT interventions.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate with carers.

Aufgaben

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments for 13-18 year olds in CAMHS.
• Deliver evidence-based OT interventions focused on self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Collaborate with Medical, Nursing, Psychology, Social Care and Education teams.
• Exchange complex, sensitive information with service users and carers.
• Provide OT advice to other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Participate in treatment planning and MDT meetings.
• Undertake manual handling assessments and ensure safety.
• Modify environment to support functional performance.
• Coordinate with Education and Social Services for equipment and home adaptations.
• Manage a complex caseload and document outcomes.
