Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Perception Component Platform Lead in Irving, TX responsible for managing multiple camera perception component development programs and coordinating with Caterpillar teams and suppliers to design, develop, deliver and qualify perception components for autonomous and safety systems.

You will oversee project staffing, drive progress, monitor costs, and communicate with customers while leading a team of engineers and collaborating with suppliers to meet

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience delivering perception components to production.
• Experience with supplier interaction (tier 1/2, contract manufacturers).
• Experience in system integration of perception components.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with business, product and system partners to manage resources for each deliverable within the camera perception component project.
• Oversee project progress; monitor costs; communicate status with stakeholders and participating areas; resolve problems.
