Job summary

Jobot is seeking a California Professional Land Surveyor to serve as the technical authority behind boundary determinations for a growing surveying practice in Riverside. You will lead complex boundary projects, mentor staff, and ensure legally defensible survey work.

This role offers significant autonomy, exposure to ALTA surveys, right-of-way mapping, and collaboration with a seasoned team. Hybrid/remote options are available to balance fieldwork and office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active California PLS license required.
• Extensive boundary research, analysis, and resolution experience.
• Strong knowledge of California boundary law and subdivision mapping.
• Experience preparing ALTA surveys, Records of Survey, legal descriptions, plats, and right-of-way mapping.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA/QC oversight for survey deliverables and mapping products.
• Mentor junior survey staff and contribute to technical standards.
• Interact with clients, agencies, title companies, and project teams.
• Lead boundary and mapping projects with legally defensible results.
• Apply extensive boundary research to complex development and infrastructure tasks.
