Job summary
RTX is seeking a skilled Calibration/Support Engineer for on-site work at our Fort Wayne, IN facility. The role focuses on diagnosing equipment failures, performing calibrations, and implementing software/firmware updates with Keysight and other test instruments.
Strong customer interfacing and adherence to ISO quality practices are required. The position requires a degree and at least 5 years of experience in customer support for test and measurement equipment, including RF/microwave
Qualifications
- Degree and 5+ years of customer support for test and measurement instruments.
- Calibration experience with Keysight and non-Keysight equipment up to 50 GHz.
- Ability to interface effectively with team members, customers, and management while upholding high ethics.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate test equipment failures and determine repair or re-alignment needs.
- Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on various instruments.
- Install software/firmware upgrades and re-imaging as needed.
- Utilize calibration software and STE/TME PC-based tools for calibrations.
- Interface with customers to ensure expectations align with support provided.
