Job summary

Baxter in Round Lake, IL seeks a Sr Calibration Technician to maintain, test, troubleshoot and calibrate instruments for laboratory and manufacturing equipment. You will prepare technical reports, perform data trending and determine acceptability of product based on specifications.

Associates Degree with 3–5 years of experience is preferred. Strong metrology knowledge and ability to work with cGMP and GDP procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong metrology knowledge and ability to handle moderately complex processes.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills; problem-solving abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Follows calibration procedures for instruments and equipment per SOP.
• Maintains equipment files for test/manufacturing equipment requiring calibration.
• Sets up standards and lab equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate instruments.
• Applies formulas to solve calibration problems and supports engineers in evaluations.
• Coordinates instrument recertification with external standards labs.
