Join the Pharmaceutical Calibrations and Instrumentation (PCI) team! We are seeking a Senior Calibration Technician who can perform calibration and maintenance on laboratory and general instrumentation onsite at our client pharmaceutical facilities in San Diego, CA, and surrounding metro areas. This position will focus on maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on a variety of instruments, including process/utility/laboratory instruments such as refrigerators, freezers, transmitters, monitors, incubators, centrifuges, autoclaves, pipettes, balances, pressure, and temperature devices. Experience with computer-based calibration tracking programs (CMMS) is desired.
The Senior Calibration Technician (Tech SR) reports directly to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director depending on the organizational structure. These positions are non-exempt. Up to fifty percent travel may be required based on project and client needs, but the majority of work is projected to be in San Diego.
A four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related field, or equivalent military training plus four+ years of relevant experience, including GMP/GLP experience. Salary range: $40-$48 per hour.
PCI serves pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and clinical research industries with calibration and consulting solutions, employing highly trained personnel knowledgeable in FDA, EPA, and ISO standards. PCI is part of FCX Performance and Applied Industrial Technologies.
