Pattern Energy seeks a Senior Settlement Analyst to validate CAISO market settlements, analyze variances, and drive revenue recovery across its renewable portfolio. You will collaborate with Trading, Scheduling, and Data Analytics to optimize settlements and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent major required.
• 3+ years of experience supporting ISO market settlements, energy trading settlements, market operations, scheduling, or power market analytics.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed shadow settlement and validation of CAISO settlement statements, charge codes, and market transactions.
• Analyze settlement variances related to Energy, Ancillary Services, Resource Adequacy, CRRs, EIM/EDAM.
• Investigate revenue leakage opportunities and identify settlement discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Scheduling Coordinators, Traders, Asset Management, and Market Operations to resolve settlement exceptions.
• Evaluate tariff and market design changes on settlement results and develop automated controls.
• Support CAISO market enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
• Prepare detailed settlement analyses for management, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor settlement timelines and maximize revenue recovery.
