Rivian is seeking a Senior CAE Automation Leader to build core Python frameworks, AI models, and automated data pipelines for vehicle engineering. You will bridge structural mechanics with modern machine learning and lead global teams across CAE and simulation domains.

The role emphasizes real-time analytics, automated reporting, and a virtual-first development approach while collaborating with executives on risks and performance gaps.

Competenze

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; Masters/PhD preferred.
• 5–8+ years in Automotive CAE delivering complex programs.
• Master's program experience may count toward work experience.
• Python or MATLAB automation, with APIs, GUIs, or CAD/CAE macros (ANSA, HyperWorks, Catia).
• ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, PyTorch) or ROMs to accelerate cycles.
• Structural/crash solvers (Abaqus, LS-DYNA); correlate virtual vs. test data.
• Knowledge of FMVSS, ECE, NCAP safety/durability regs; robust countermeasures.
• Leadership; cross-functional teams; Jira usage; communicate to executives.
