Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior CAE Applications Engineer in Dearborn, MI, onsite. The role focuses on onboarding CAE applications in a secure cloud environment and evolving deployments into an integrated engineering application environment.

You will coordinate across technical teams, document current and target architectures, and manage licensing, testing, and transition to steady-state operations for CAE tools like MATLAB, Simulink, ANSA, LS-DYNA, and LS-PREPOST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, IT or related field.
• 7+ years installing/supporting CAE tools (MATLAB/Simulink/ANSA/LS-DYNA/LS-PREPOST).
• Experience with Azure infra, VMs, storage, identity, monitoring, cost management; licensing models.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and support of CAE apps in virtual desktop and cloud environments.
• Document architectures, dependencies, and ownership for deployments.
• Monitor license consumption and cost reports; coordinate with finance and cloud teams.
