Atlas Surveying, Inc. is seeking an experienced CAD Technician in Charlotte, NC to transform field survey data into precise CAD drawings. This in-office role requires strong CAD skills and a solid understanding of surveying practices to produce boundary, topo, and staking plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of CAD experience in surveying or engineering required.
• Proficiency in CAD drafting principles and survey data transfer.

Responsibilities

• Convert field survey data into detailed CAD drawings (boundary, topo, staking).
• Interpret survey notes and data for accurate features and measurements.
• Prepare drawings/maps for client deliverables per project specs and standards.
• Collaborate with surveyors and PMs to address design changes.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation for efficient management.
• Assist in quality control checks to verify accuracy of survey drawings.
