Job Description: Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Senior CAD Technician based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Westchester PA, Raynham MA, or Raritan, NJ. The individual will support the Technical Operations group, focusing on the Enabling Technologies platform involved with robotics, powered handpieces, and hardware/software technologies in Joint Reconstruction, Spine, and Trauma.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing precise engineering drawings for electrical, design, and manufacturing standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO).
• Creating advanced 3D models and design details using SolidWorks Surfacing.
• Collaborating with engineers on electrical components and assemblies, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Managing BOMs, parts lists, and wiring lists.
• Ensuring drawings and models meet clarity, completeness, and procedural standards.
• Supporting design reviews with mathematical calculations like volume, weight, and tolerance analysis.
• Providing daily support across product lifecycle stages, including Prototype, Design, Manufacturing, and Obsolescence.
• Assisting with standards related to drafting, configuration management, UDI, RoHS, FDA, and EU MDR regulations.
• Leading CAD software upgrades, document management, and PDM system migrations, including user training.
• Creating illustrations or renderings for IFUs and marketing materials.
• Addressing CAD support requests and providing user training.
• Maintaining accuracy and documentation quality in line with GDP.
• Planning and prioritizing workload independently, collaborating across teams for innovative solutions.
• Contributing to technical documents and representing CAD in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Adhering to company standards and QSR regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two-year Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Drafting, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Experience and Skills:

• At least 7 years in advanced CAD design and drafting (Modeling, Surfacing).
• Experience with Electro-Mechanical assemblies.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and GD&T standards.
• Familiar with MS Office, graphic software, ERP (SAP), and PDM systems.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: Certified SolidWorks Professional.

Other Requirements:

• Travel is minimal or not required.
• Base pay ranges from $63,000 to $90,023.50 annually.
