Job summary

Laitram LLC is seeking an experienced CAD Administrator to manage and continuously improve our enterprise CAD environment. You will serve as the primary liaison between Engineering and DT, ensuring stability, performance, and standardization of CAD systems and data management across the product lifecycle.

The role requires expertise in Autodesk applications, CAD standards, and automation technologies, with responsibility for process improvement, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• CAD drafting and design certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years expertise with CAD software and enterprise CAD environments.
• Experience with PLM/PDM integrations and CAD data governance.
• Familiarity with ISO/ASME/WIAWS standards and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and support CAD software and systems.
• Develop and enforce CAD standards, templates, and data exchange formats.
• Support CAD integrations with PLM/PDM systems (Windchill).
• Develop automation using Inventor iLogic, VBnet, AutoLISP and other scripting tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DT, PLM, and Project Management on CAD deployments and governance.
• Create user guides, training materials, and provide user training.
• Support engineering documentation, design validation, and change processes.
