Jobot seeks an Engineering Design Systems Manager/Admin to own and improve our CAD environment, including Autodesk applications, Bluebeam, and future PLM integrations. This fully remote role offers a leadership position in design technology within a renewable energy context.

You will administer Autodesk tools, set CAD standards, coordinate IT deployments, and drive automation to boost accuracy and speed while supporting PLM/PDM workflows and controlled documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in CAD administration, design technology, or related technical roles.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency and hands-on Autodesk environment administration (Inventor).
• Experience supporting users and managing standards, templates, libraries, software configurations, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of engineering document control, revisions, BOMs, and product data.
• Experience with CAD/PDM integration into PLM, ERP, or related engineering systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, lead process improvements, and work independently across technical teams.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent advanced training and relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support AutoCAD, Inventor, Bluebeam, and related engineering applications; troubleshoot software, modeling, and workflow issues.
• Establish and maintain CAD standards, templates, drawing libraries, and revision practices.
• Coordinate with IT on deployments, upgrades, access, backups, and licensing.
• Develop and implement automation to reduce repetitive design work and improve turnaround time.
• Support CAD integration with PLM/PDM, NetSuite, and controlled documentation workflows.
• Improve drawing quality through standards checks and review processes.
• Train users and document best practices; support adoption of new tools and workflows.
• Provide advanced modeling and design support as needed; routine production drafting as a secondary responsibility.
