Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a mechanical/piping designer to perform complete designs under supervision. You will develop piping drawings from P&IDs, GA’s, and equipment drawings, and assist in field design activities and startup support.

This role requires 4+ years of related industrial experience, an associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD, and proficiency with 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation. Collaboration with client teams and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
• 4+ years of industrial mechanical/piping drafting and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design complete mechanical/piping assignments under supervision.
• Develop piping drawings from P&IDs, GA’s, and equipment drawings.
• Prepare material take-offs from piping drawings.
• Perform field design work and communicate with client personnel.
• Create installation documents from vendor drawings.
• Support on-site startup activities.
