Job summary
Dexcom Inc. is seeking a CAD Administrator IV in San Diego to independently support and optimize CAD/EPDM environments. You will champion best practices, data integrity, and standardized workflows, collaborating with Engineering, IT, PLM, Procurement, and vendors to resolve complex issues and maintain licensing.
Requirements include 5+ years in SolidWorks CAD/EPDM, licensing experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional resolutions while ensuring data integrity and efficient CAD workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of SolidWorks CAD and EPDM application support experience.
- Experience administering engineering software licenses and license servers.
- Ability to diagnose complex software, access, and licensing issues.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Experience leading complex CAD/PDM cases and coordinating cross-functional resolution.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks PDM including data management and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own CAD and PDM administrative activities: setup, configuration, troubleshooting, license management.
- Champion standardized CAD workflows and data integrity across engineering teams.
- Support CAD/PDM environments: user access, configuration, version control, and PLM integration.
- Serve as escalation point for complex CAD/PDM issues and coordinate cross-functional resolutions.
- Manage CAD support requests from intake to closure; coordinate license renewals and utilization.
