Baxter Healthcare is seeking a CAD Specialist to advance mechanical product development using SOLIDWORKS and PDM Professional. You will establish CAD best practices, manage data, and support engineers across design, documentation, and change processes.

The role demands strong CAD expertise, attention to detail, and effective communication. You’ll partner with IT for software management and contribute to training and process improvements to ensure compliant product documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency with SOLIDWORKS, including part modeling and drawings.
• Hands-on experience administering SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional.
• Strong knowledge of CAD modeling, tolerancing, GD&T, drawing standards.
• Ability to review models and drawings, identify quality issues, and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Creates and modifies 3D parts, assemblies, configurations, and production drawings using SOLIDWORKS.
• Develops and maintains CAD standards, templates, and design libraries.
• Administers SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional including users, workflows, and vault configurations.
• Supports CAD users and resolves issues; collaborates with IT for installations and upgrades.
• Develops procedures, training materials, and user guidance for CAD/PDM processes.
