Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Land Development team in Downtown West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Experienced CAD Operator to design and produce plans for diverse projects. You will develop technical drawings with CAD software, perform quality checks on complex drawings, and help maintain standards.

May supervise CAD staff and coordinate with teams to meet schedules. Applicants should have 3+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products; strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant CAD experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley software.
Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

Design and produce sets of plans for Land Development projects including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential.
Develop technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
Quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity.
May supervise and train CAD staff.
Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
Maintain drawing database.
Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
