Job description

Immediate open position(s) available for CAD Draftsmanwith CIVILGEAR, LLC. Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma, and is open to experience levels ranging from recent graduate to 3+ years (technical schooling is preferred). The CAD Draftsman will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, elevations, sections, grading and other technical documents that support the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Civil drafting and be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

The applicant must be skilled in drafting, so proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Must carry a strong attention to detail knowledge set, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and the ability to interpret / translate had drawn sketches into accurate design drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate, detailed drawings from concept plans
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD team drawing accuracy and constructability.
• Translate design concepts into production-ready drawings
• Review architectural and survey plans and apply company standard to design.
• Revise drawings based on redlines, field changes, or client feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company drafting protocols.
• Maintain organized documentation and drawing files throughout project
