Job summary

Engage Search Partners, LLC is seeking a Civil CAD Drafter to support land development and surveying projects for residential, commercial, and industrial developments. The role emphasizes AutoCAD drafting, interpreting engineering drawings, and coordinating with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, certification, or formal training in drafting, design technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using AutoCAD 2020 or newer.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting technical drawings, engineering plans, and design specifications.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and design plans from sketches and specifications.
• Produce civil engineering and surveying drawings including site development plans and construction documents.
• Interpret project requirements and incorporate ordinances, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and design team to coordinate drawings and maintain consistency.
• Ensure drafting tasks are completed accurately within deadlines and budgets.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing revisions.
• Assist with additional drafting and project-related assignments as needed.

Civil CAD Drafter – Land Development & Surveying

Position Overview

We are partnering with a growing civil engineering and land surveying firm seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join its team. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of land development and surveying projects supporting residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD, strong technical drafting skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and project specifications. This individual will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other design professionals to develop accurate drawings and construction documents.

This is a full-time, on-site position offering a collaborative work environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and design plans using engineering sketches, specifications, and project documentation.
• Produce civil engineering and surveying drawings, including site development plans, subdivision layouts, conceptual designs, and construction documents.
• Interpret project requirements and incorporate applicable municipal ordinances, zoning regulations, and industry standards into technical drawings.
• Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and design team members to coordinate drawings and maintain project consistency.
