Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings.
• Experience in civil, electrical, communications, mechanical, or structural CAD drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of Sandia drawings, templates, and standards.
• Create new schematic drawings from scratch or modify existing ones.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to inform design decisions.
• Work with project managers and engineers to resolve design issues.
• Calculate material quantities to inform cost estimates.
